The International LCT Show wouldn’t be complete without a themed video featuring some of the latest livery vehicles Ford/Lincoln and General Motors.
David Bastian, commercial sales manager at Towne Livery in Orchard Park, N.Y., just delivered “Season 6” of his annual ILCT Show video series, pairing the vehicles with agent characters to play off of this year’s show theme: “Mission Possible.”
Since debuting his video series at the 2015 International LCT Show, Bastian has deployed his creative side to promote luxury vehicles while encouraging industry members to attend the industry’s largest marketplace and networking event. This year, the Show will be held Feb. 16-19 at The Venetian/Sand Expo in Las Vegas.
“I really think this video is our best,” Bastian said. “The whole idea and theme for us is delivering our products to the industry. That’s our mission every day. And we’ll deliver them in Las Vegas.”
As usual, the video was scripted, directed, and shot by Peter McGennis, owner and director of Galora Productions in Buffalo, N.Y., which also created the previous Towne Livery show promotional videos.
In the Mission video, Bastian stars as code-named agent “Linc,” who is seen traipsing around a line of Lincoln livery vehicles; Tony McCarthy as “Ford,” while driving a Ford Expedition; Norman Liss as “Chevy,” with a Suburban; and Roselyn Kasmire, as “Caddy,” slinking around a Cadillac Escalade.
Kasmire is the newcomer to the video series, while the others have performed in other roles in previous videos. She is an award-winning author and educator, and has published several children's books, including Pancho Power dedicated to the late Buffalo Bills' super-fan "Pancho Billa."
“Roselyn represents the danger, the badass of the group,” Bastian said. “We didn’t plan it that way. (McGennis) made sure he positioned her where you could see the danger sign.”
The video was shot on a Towne Auto Group dealership parking lot. Towne Livery will exhibit at Booth No. 231 on the show floor.
