London authorities of denied Indian ride-hailing app Ola a new operating license, CNN reports.

Transport for London (TfL) made the announcement on Sunday, citing safety concerns. The transportation authority claims unlicensed vehicles and drivers have made more than 1,000 trips on the app. TfL also said Ola failed to notify them of security breaches.

Ola said it will appeal the decision. The app will still be allowed to function during the appeals process.
