Sixt Selects New Zealand Franchise Partner

Sixt has appointed Premium Mobility Services, the car rental subsidiary of the Giltrap Group, as its franchise partner for New Zealand.

Sixt New Zealand will be welcoming its customers in Auckland, Christchurch, Queenstown, and Wellington starting from December 1. Additional branches in major cities and at the relevant airports across New Zealand are planned.

The partnership leverages Sixt’s experience in mobility for more than 100 years and the Giltrap Group’s potential to shape the future of the mobility market in New Zealand with launching an innovative car subscription model.

The range of services includes classic short-term and long-term rental, leasing business, and a subscription model. The car subscription allows customers to explore flexible car usage options of six, nine, or 12 months with a brand-new vehicle that best suits their individual mobility needs. Benefitting from the close ties to the Giltrap Group, the vehicle fleet comprises European and Japanese premium vehicles from compacts and limousines to SUVs, all-wheel drive, luxury sport vehicles, and electric vehicles.
