Subaru revealed that the factory cutoff time frame to place an order for the 2021 Subaru Outback and 2021 Subaru Legacy is scheduled for early to mid January, according to the automaker.

Orders for the vehicles placed between the factory cutoff and order receipt cutoff, which is the end of February, will be placed on a “will try” basis, Subaru said. Some colors and options may not be available during this period. Orders placed after the receipt cutoff can not be filled.

Meanwhile, for other 2021-MY vehicles, the Subaru Impreza has a factory cutoff for early April, and the Ascent has a factory cutoff set for early May.

Later in the year, the 2021 Subaru Forester’s factory cutoff is early June and the Crosstrek has a cutoff set for early August.

Pricing announcements and order acceptance time frames for 2022-MY vehicles were also announced. The 2022 Legacy and Outback are scheduled for mid-March; the Impreza is slated for mid-July; details for the Ascent will be revealed in August; the Forester is scheduled for mid-september, and the Crosstrek will be scheduled for mid-November.
