Zeeba, an on-demand van rental service, has named General Motors, Ford, and Zipcar executive Dan Grossman as an executive advisor to its Advisory Board.

"Zeeba’s growth plan for 2021 requires both expertise and concentration in order to successfully execute the top initiatives identified in our roadmap," Kayvon Marashi, CEO of Zeeba Vans, said in a statement. "We are very excited to have Dan Grossman join our Advisory Team, as it will undoubtedly open up many opportunities given his rare and invaluable experience in shared mobility. In the upcoming months, I will be working very closely with Dan, and I look forward to sharing updates on some of the exciting projects that we are currently working on."

Grossman has been a trailblazer in the shared mobility industry, and his tenures as VP at Zipcar, COO at GM’s Maven, and CEO at Ford owned Chariot have contributed to the growth the industry is seeing today. His storied track record of pioneering, launching, and scaling new businesses globally gives Zeeba additional momentum, as the startup is currently in the initial phase of launching its service in San Francisco.

"Shared mobility, particularly in vans, is seeing phenomenal momentum," Grossman said in a statement. "Delivery service providers and personal van demand is increasing and very few companies are poised to provide the equipment, insurance and vehicles to maximize this opportunity with the required flexibility. I look forward to learning more about the business opportunities and utilizing my experience to assist the leadership team at Zeeba grow."
