In the latest Global Fleet Management Voices video, Paul Hollick, chairman of the Association of Fleet Professionals, based in the United Kingdom, spoke with AF Editor Mike Antich on the current conditions of the U.K. fleet market.
During their discussion, they covered what impact the three COVID-19 lockdowns had on fleet management in the country, and what post-pandemic fleet activity in the U.K. could look like.
They also discussed the impact Brexit has had on the U.K. fleet industry, as well as the country’s tax policies to stimulate the sales of electric vehicles. Also covered was the continuing interest from U.K. fleets in mobility-as-a-service, the expanding reliance on data to improve fleet management, and how the fleet manager role in the country is evolving.
