Geotab Adds Distracted Driving Solution to its Marketplace

Distracted-driving prevention solutions provider Motion Intelligence announced the availability of its fleet safety solutions on the Geotab Marketplace, according to the companies.

The Evvy App and MotionIQ Evvy Manager Dashboard, Motion Intelligence’s solution, integrates with the Geotab fleet-management platform to reduce distracted driving and improve driver compliance.

Motion Intelligence's solution is designed to provider customers’s with greater control over risky driving behaviors, the company said. By preventing dangerous activities on the driver's mobile device when the vehicle is in motion, the Evvy app helps prevent distractions while keeping drivers safely connected.

Integrating with Geotab's telematics platform, the Evvy app manages the use of drivers' authorized devices and detects and alerts managers when a rogue device—one without the app installed—is present in the vehicle. The MotionIQ Dashboard provides managers with a customizable monitoring system and reports for a convenient, effective experience.

Motion Intelligence's solution can be customized to both Mobile Device Management (MDM) and bring your own device (BYOD) environments to ensure a seamless integration.
