Mark Petersen was named senior fleet compliance analyst at Syneos Health. Previously, Petersen worked for Element Fleet Management from 2019-2021 as the fleet manager for Allied Universal, which outsourced the management of its fleet to Element.

Earlier, Petersen was the global sourcing manager/fleet manager for Getinge from 2016-2019. While at Getinge, Petersen handed all aspects of fleet management for a medical devices company. During his tenure at Getinge, Petersen merged three separately managed company fleets into one, resulting in increased savings and efficiencies. In his global sourcing role at Getinge, Petersen participated in a global task force to formulate and recommend a global fleet policy from which key concepts were incorporated into a revised U.S. policy.
