New Sales Director Role At Cox Automotive Europe

 

Cox Automotive Europe, the world-leasing automotive services operation, has created a new Sales Director role and appointed Sam Watkins to the position, effective June 7, 2021.

Designed to strengthen the senior leadership team, Watkins brings with her a wealth of experience from her current role as Commercial Director for Manheim Vehicle Services, where she has been instrumental in winning significant new contracts with OEMs, fleets and leasing companies.

Watkins, who after two years has recently stepped down as Chair of the Vehicle Remarketing Association (VRA), will report to James Leese, Chief Customer Officer for Cox Automotive Europe.

“Many of our larger OEM and fleet customers are now looking for connected solutions across the UK and Europe,” commented Leese.  “We are well-placed to offer these solutions using multiple products and services across the Cox Automotive portfolio. We need to ensure we are structured appropriately to work with both existing customers and prospects to meet their requirements.”
