Rob Holdcroft is the new Head of Fleet at Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles in the UK, effective July 12, 2021.

Holdcroft, who moves from his current appointment as National Sales Manager for the brand, replaces Claire English, who is moving to head up the fleet department at Audi UK.

Holdcroft has worked for the brand in sales operations since 2016, both managing the area sales teams, and in sales development roles, to ensure a customer centric experience throughout the commercial vehicle Van Centre network.

Prior to joining the Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, Holdcroft worked in the Volkswagen Group’s Trade Parts Specialists team, as TPS Operations Manager. Holdcroft will report into David Hanna, the newly appointed Head of Sales Operations.

Cian O’Brien, Director of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, commenting on the appointment, says: “I’m pleased to see Rob stepping up to a new role in the team, bringing fresh ideas and ambitions, coupled with excellent knowledge and experience of our network and customers.

“We have an exciting course ahead of us, with the forthcoming launches of the new Multivan, ID.Buzz and ID. Buzz Cargo, and new Amarok in the next few years, as well as developments in electrification and digitalisation. I’m delighted to have an engaged team in place who are as excited as me to get stuck into the challenges.”
