Gibran Sanfelice Lehmkuhl is now head of indirect procurement, business services & mobility at Schindler Elevator Corporation (U.S.) as of October 1, 2021. 

Lehmkuhl is based in the Miami-Ft. Lauderdale area in Florida. He reports to the VP of supply chain and is responsible for the development and execution of indirect procurement programs to enable Schindler U.S. to optimize spend and to drive value through management of strategic supplier relationships. He has an overall spend of more than $400 million and a portfolio of 4,000 suppliers. He also spearheads the deployment of a shared services center with focus on process and spend optimization. Lehmkuhl is accountable for all indirect sourcing, and some of the main categories  encompassed in the scope of the role include support to non-production materials and subcontracting in field operations, travel, and fleet management operations, including aggressive plans to reduce emissions in alignment with Schindler’s global fleet policy and its 2022 goal of reducing the intensity of its fleet’s carbon footprint by 25% in relation to revenue.
