The Audi Q4 etron model led the increase in Swiss fleet EV new-car registrations in January.

Switzerland’s fleet market is growing steadily greener: Alternative powertrains all experienced significant growth in January 2022 new vehicle registrations compared to same time last year, according to DataForce, a leading market research and consulting firm for the German and international fleet market.

The increasing numbers helped push the Swiss fleet market into the green by +8%, according to recently released DataForce figures.

The growth was fueled by a 107% increase in new fleet electric vehicle (EV) registrations. Hybrid vehicle numbers grew 40%, and plug-in hybrid EVs (PHEV) recorded a 21% expansion. In contrast. petrol-powered vehicles saw no change, and fleet diesel units decreased by 7%.

According to DataForce, the top three EV models in Swiss fleets in January were:

  1. Audi Q4 e-tron
  2. Skoda Enyaq iV
  3. Renault Zoe
