In a deal essential to realizing its fleet net-zero target by 2030, ISS, a leading facilities management company headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark, has partnered with LeasePlan to reduce CO2 emissions within the ISS fleet.
The partnership will launch in Denmark, Germany, Norway, and the United Kingdom this year with further countries following in 2023 and beyond. ISS plans to undertake initiatives in all of its markets, however, to support the fleet net-zero target.
The current ISS global fleet numbers about 20,000 vehicles; 70% of the units are leased through LeasePlan. According to ISS, “The new partnership will see the two businesses work collaboratively to accelerate sustainability initiatives, with electrification as the key lever.”
“Not one company can solve the climate crisis on their own, so collaboration is essential in building a more sustainable future," says Tracy Nilsson, global head of sustainability, ISS World Services A/S, "and we have worked with LeasePlan for many years and have already built a strong relationship, so we are very excited about working jointly with them on sustainable mobility, which will be one of the key drivers in ISS’s sustainability efforts going forward.”
