The fleet and asset management specialist, AssetWorks, is expanding its professional services team in the UK. It follows a period of growth in both the UK and global markets that has seen the company now manage in excess of 14 million assets.

Sal Salahudin and Jake Lancaster join the professional services team which works directly with the company’s fleet management software customers to help implement, upgrade, and provide software training. Sal Salahudin joins as implementation consultant & senior technical product specialist having taught computer sciences before moving to AssetWorks.

Commenting on her new role, Salahudin said: “The company has managed to create an ecosystem that optimizes processes and operational efficiency within fleet operations whether that’s drivers inspecting their vehicles to managers analyzing full lifetime costs.”

Jake Lancaster, implementation consultant, joins from a fleet management background where he has been engaged in fleet software for the past eight years.“The AssetWorks software is a content rich, web-based solution. The structure and usability are clear and concise and it’s great to see all the ‘user help’ options throughout the site,” he said.

Martin Greaves, operations director at AssetWorks said that the challenges in the fleet sector caused by the pandemic and fleet shortages had helped AssetWorks grow its customer base as fleets needed greater control and understanding of their assets and maintenance requirements thanks to extended life cycles.

“The expansion comes at a critical time in our growth and sets strong foundations for our departments and standards to grow from,” he added.
