Vehicle leasing and mobility solutions provider Arval has launched a new telematics service Arval Connect.

The new service, according to the company, is a revamp of its Arval Active Link product. Currently deployed in 22 countries, Arval Connect offers customers improved means to reduce fuel consumption, enhance safety through driver behavior profiles, analyze electrification opportunities, and create workforce efficiencies.

Arval Connect, provides “a kind of mini leasing consulting tool that enables tangible benefits and better decisions,” said Alain van Groenendael, Arval CEO. “Combined with insurance-related services, we offer an innovative approach to encourage safe and eco-conscious driving.”

The new telematics service aims to help customers increase safe and eco-conscious driving and reduce road collision incidents by linking driver behavior data with risk management. A Connected Drivers program provides driver training course and incentives. In addition, a connected insured rental service is offered with a lease discount for vehicles insured by Arval.
