Astrata
Enterprise management software and location-based telematics provider Astrata has signed a five-year partnership with Bosch Group to manufacture Astrata’s advanced fleet management system for heavy goods and light-commercial vehicle hardware.
Astrata has also relocated its production from Malaysia to France to improve its delivery performance in Europe and reduce its environmental impact and logistical risks. Headquartered in Singapore and Eindhoven, Netherlands, Astrata holds major operations and offices in America, Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Asia-Pacific.
Bosch now directs Astrata's entire European production at its Mondeville site in Normandy, France. A global partner of the automotive manufacturing industry, Bosch offers a reliable supply chain based such resources as robust purchasing teams and advanced electronic warehousing capabilities.
Astrata test benches and quality assurance equipment were transferred to Bosch. following a transition period, Bosch now carries out Astrata's entire European production at its Mondeville site in Normandy, France.
