Commercial vehicle fleets on contract through leasing provider Alphabet can now access vehicle conversions directly through the leasing and mobility specialist.
Ahead of the annual Commercial Vehicle Show held at NEC Birmingham (26-26 May), Alphabet has announced a new nationwide supplier network of nine approved LCV conversion specialists.
The new partner network covers seven core categories:
- internal van provision
- construction body
- dry freight
- wheelchair-accessible vehicles
- refrigerated vehicles
- livery and media
According to Alphabet, it received strong demand for LCVs last year which has continued into the current year with an increasing number of complex fleet demands.
Simon Simmons, LCV national corporate sales manager at Alphabet (GB) explained, “Successful mobility depends on a great supplier network and each of our partners have been chosen for their specialist experience, enabling our customers to continue to receive quality vehicles and service, while benefiting from access to a wide range of fully-managed bespoke solutions at competitive prices.”
Fleet customers are able to self-serve through Alphabet’s online ordering portal, which provides options of vehicle types which can be explored in 360-degree visualizations before ordering through the portal.
Once the order is placed, fleet managers can maintain visibility of the conversion process through an online Build Management System. Alphabet says the system engages the conversion partners to complete the conversion within the scheduled timeframe, as well as managing the collection of existing vehicles to minimize downtime.
“LCV specification, preparation and mobilization can be a complicated process and we want to simplify this as much as we can,” Simmons added. “The dedicated specialists in our new partner network complement our in-house LCV experts perfectly and allow us to continue to have the very best teams in place to support our customers.”
The Alphabet commercial vehicle team will be demonstrating the system to fleet managers at the upcoming Commercial Vehicle Show.
