Korean carmaker Kia has debuted the refreshed 2023 Kia Soul, arriving later this summer and featuring updated design elements, simplified lineup and two option packages.
The sub-compact’s basic form remains, said Steve Center, COO of Kia America, but with "advanced technology and feature-packed trims."
The Soul lineup now include LX, S, EX, GT-Line, GT-Line Tech trimlines. The refreshed Soul is powered by a single powertrain: a 2.0L inline four-cylinder. Kia’s intelligent variable transmission is standard for all trims.
An all-new front fascia features an enhanced grille set off with available LED headlights and redesigned for fog lights. Available 17- and 18-inch alloy wheels and a redesigned rear fascia and taillights complete the exterior enhancements. Another feature is the 10.25-inch (standard on all but LX trim) touchscreen with navigation.
Safety features now standard across all trims include forward collision avoidance assist-pedestrian, lane-keeping and following assist, driver attention and lane departure warnings, high beam assist and rear occupant alert.
