Arval Appoints François-Xavier Castille as Deputy CEO and Stefan Majtán as International Managing Director

Leasing and mobility provider Arval has made two new senior appointments.

Arval's new deputy CEO as well as managing director Europe and Latin America is François-Xavier Castille. He moves up from his role as Arval international managing director.

Replacing him as international managing director is Stefan Majtán, formerly Arval Italy’s general manager. Both report to Alain van Groenendael, Arval chairman and CEO.

François-Xavier Castille has extensive experience at Arval, having first joined the organization in 2000, becoming general manager for Portugal, Spain and then France. In 2018, he was appointed managing director Arval international. In May 2022, he became Arval Europe and Latin America managing director. He also sits on the Arval Executive Committee.

Following extensive experience in the automotive sector, Stefan Majtán joined Arval in 2003 to set up Arval operations in Central and Eastern Europe. From 2011 to 2019, he was head of Arval’s central europe region. In July 2019, he was appointed general manager Arval Italy, before moving to his new role with jurisdiction over all Arval countries, except France, Italy, UK, Spain and Latin America. In his new role he now joins the Arval executive committee.
