Bruce Derby, fleet field manager for Toyota Motor North America (TMNA), retired from the automaker, capping a more than 40-year career with the company. Derby joined Toyota Motor Sales USA in 1982. Assuming Derby’s responsibilities is Rob Larson, fleet field manager for TMNA, who is now responsible for corporate sales relationships in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming.

Schuttee will report to Tom Deluise, senior manager of commercial and government fleet sales for TMNA.

On July 5, 2022, Eric Schuttee will officially assume Larson’s prior responsibilities as commercial sales support manager for TMNA. Schuttee will report to Tom Deluise, senior manager of commercial and government fleet sales for TMNA.

Previously, Schuttee was the Lexus sales support manager for Lexus Certified and Accessory Sales. In his new role, Schuttee will be the main contact for nine major fleet management companies (FMCs) as well as serve as a key contact for TMNA fleet field managers. Schuttee joined Toyota in 1990. In addition to his prior role with Lexus, Schuttee has worked in new- and used-vehicle sales, marketing, and fixed operations. Schuttee also has some fleet background having served as Toyota fleet fixed operations manager and more recently exploring fleet opportunities for Lexus.

As fleet field manager, Agafonov is responsible for corporate sales relationships in Connecticut, New Jersey, and New York.
