Volvo Car UK has launched a new portal for SME fleet and business users.

The portal, Volvo Fleet and Business Online, provides the full range of Volvo models with direct-to-business pricing through the Care by Volvo subscription service. This includes full service maintenance, with just insurance and fuel or electricity required by the user for the monthly rental.

A third option is provided for electric vehicles, allowing the vehicle to be purchased.

The portal provides delivery times for stock vehicles or users can build-to-order. The step-by-step selection and ordering process is simple, with key details such as each model’s benefit-in-kind (BIK) tax rate clearly displayed. Mileages can be adjusted to suit the end user. Once ordered, the portal provides a status update of any live orders.

Kristian Elvefors, Volvo Car UK managing director, said:

“We’ve designed this new platform to be as easy and convenient for our business customers as possible. With the dedicated online portal, they can access all the information and updates they need, whenever they want and wherever they are. The key details for efficient fleet planning and management are clearly displayed, and the subscription packages make for easier budgeting, with no hidden extras.”

Volvo said that, while the site was only available to SME fleet managers with up to 50 cars at present, company car drivers would soon be able to access the portal as well.
