The BMW Group has named Juan Bautista vice-president of the company’s used car operations in Europe. In his new role, Bautista is responsible for BMW and MINI used car business in Europe, headquartered in Munich.
Bautista joined BMW in 2011 and most recently served as VP, Used Car Center of Competence at BMW offices in Dinglfing, Bavaria. His positions with BMW Group have also included vice-president, used car business, for BMW, Mini and Rolls Royce in the U.S. and CEO of BMW subsidiary Alphabet Nederland.

A 20-plus year veteran of the leasing and automotive business, Bautista previously served as CEO of global banker ING car leasing operations in Spain and was a board member of the Spanish Car Leasing Association.

He holds an MBA from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business as well as degrees in marketing and business administration.
