An opportunity for fleet managers to discuss operational issues has been created by the Association of Fleet Professionals (AFP).

The open forum - which takes place online on Tuesday, September 08, 2022 from 0930 to 1130 - is being moderated by Debbie Floyde (AFP board member) and Graham Short (fleet manager, Culligan UK).

The AFP said that the event’s rationale was to provide an opportunity for fleet managers to discuss issues of the moment and operational pain points.

Debbie Floyde said, “Often, the smallest nugget of wisdom can be world-changing for those who receive it and what we are aiming to achieve is to find a means of dialogue that will allow people to more easily highlight this kind of information.

“We are aware, through the AFP, that following the pandemic there has been a shortage of forums where fleet professionals can discuss issues and share best practice, and we’re hoping that this format will help to answer that need.”

The AFP said it was considering expanding the number of forums it held if the first proved to be a success.

To join the webinar, fleet managers must be a member of the AFP. To register for a place, click here.
