Noodoe EV, a Houston, Texas-based global provider of electric vehicle charging technology, has launched Fleet Charging Solutions, a scalable hardware/software management solution for EV fleets.

Described as a one-stop solution for fleets of any size and type, the EV management system features load management and smart scheduling microservices combined with an intuitive dashboard for drivers and fleet managers, according to Noodoe CEO Jennifer Chang.

The company’s EV charging system begins with a range of power-efficient hardware coupled with the Noodoe EV OS. The “smart” software integrates with other fleet management systems.

A cloud-based network operating system, the EV OS is a “central brain” that runs all the charging stations across multiple locations. The system automates the entire EV charging network operation, providing 24/7 charging service delivery, automatic peak-hour price adjustment, automatic transaction billing, automatic payment processing, automatic bank transfer, automatic infrastructure diagnostics, and intelligent energy management.

Noting that one-third of the world’s commercial vehicles expected to transition to electric by 2040, “fleet electrification makes financial sense when taking into account total cost of ownership,” said Chang.

Newer automakers such as Arrival, Rivian, and Tesla, as well as traditional manufacturers including Daimler, Ford and Volvo, are bringing numerous EV options to the market, Chang added.  “Fleet Charging Solution removes the last barrier for fleets to go electric, whether they be for city vehicles, rental or service vehicles.”
