Leasing and mobility provider Alphabet has extended its presence to Finland following collaboration with local leasing operator Secto Automotive.

It means global fleet managers now have access to Alphabet mobility solutions in 33 countries, including most of Europe.

Secto Automotive is a privately held leasing company in Finland and the third largest in the market. Established in 2007, it already has 4,700 relationships with small- and medium-sized enterprises, and manages a fleet of 11,000 vehicles. Thanks to the new partnership with Alphabet, it will now be able to grow its business among larger corporates and private lease customers.

Matias Henkola, the CEO of Secto Automotive, commented, “The partnership with Alphabet supports our strategic direction, enabling us to leverage our expertise in fleet decarbonization and offer customized solutions to a broader range of customers, not only in Finland, but beyond our borders, too.”

Susanne Loser, chief sales officer at Alphabet International, added, “With Secto, we have gained a great partner to tune into the local needs and wants of fleets in Finland, as well as increasing the accessibility of our tailored mobility products and services in the region. We’re certain both sides will benefit greatly from each other’s network and capabilities, allowing us to support new and existing customers with a long-lasting partnership”.

In April this year, Alphabet announced a partnership with Canadian fleet management and leasing firm Jim Pattison Lease as part of a continuing expansion plan to become a global fleet player.
