One of the top 20 leasing companies in the UK, independent firm Ogilvie Fleet has appointed a new business development manager to deliver growth.

The Scotland-based company grew its fleet by over 1,000 vehicles in 2022 and will be hoping new recruit Ranjit Grewal, installed as business development manager, will add to this fleet expansion during 2023.

Grewal is an experienced leasing professional, most recently with National Fleet Services and before that with TCH Leasing.

Commenting on her appointment, Grewal said:

“I’m looking forward to working with Ogilvie Fleet’s well-established team to expand the already impressive roster of clients.  Vehicle acquisition is the highest cost to businesses after payroll, so it’s of utmost importance to work closely with customers to ensure that fleets are being structured and run as efficiently as possible.

“I am delighted to be joining not only a leading independent leasing company, but also one in which customers enjoy a dedicated customer support team. When drivers are the beating heart of so many businesses, Ogilvie Fleet ensures that customer care is at the core of its business.”

Jo Clark, Ogilive sales director for Southern England, added: “Ranjit’s unwavering commitment to customer service is a perfect fit for Ogilvie. Her track record speaks for itself, and with Ogilvie’s all-encompassing product portfolio, we have no doubt she will make a great contribution to our continued growth. We are delighted to welcome her to the team.
