The raft of changes at the top of the UK brands of Stellantis continues. After the appointment of Greg Taylor as the new managing director of Citroen UK announced January 11, sister brand Peugeot UK has followed suit.
Adam Wood is appointed managing director, effective immediately. He replaces Julie David, who moves to the role of managing director of Stellantis Premium Brands.
Adam is an experienced automotive executive who joined Stellantis brand Vauxhall as marketing director following a successful 13-year career with Renault Group that culminated in heading up the Dacia brand in the U.K.
Commenting on his appointment, Adam said:
“The Peugeot brand is going from strength to strength, and I am excited about our potential. Peugeot will be launching five electric vehicles in the next two years, and it will be great to play a part in bringing these to U.K. drivers.”
Adam will report to Paul Willcox, managing director, Stellantis UK.
At the same time, Kristian Cholmondeley is appointed marketing director. He joins Peugeot having previously held a range of roles across Stellantis brands, most recently as head of PR for Alfa Romeo and DS Automobiles. Sam Brandon also joins as regional operations & sales director, having held a variety of positions under the Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) umbrella, most recently as national sales manager for the Alfa Romeo and Jeep brands in the U.K.
