Ford Motor Company recently revealed the all-new E‑Tourneo Courier in Copenhagen, Denmark, the next step in its aim to produce nine all-electric passenger and commercial vehicles in Europe by 2024 and sales of all zero-emissions vehicles in the region by 2035.
Arriving in 2024 for customers across Europe, the all-electric Tourneo Courier follows the EcoBoost gas‑engine Tourneo Courier, opening for order this summer with initial deliveries before year’s end.
The E-Tourneo Courier SUV features a refined all-electric driveline: a 100 kW (136 PS) e‑motor, further enhanced using a selectable one-pedal driving mode, according to Ford.
The vehicle offers both 11 kW AC and 100 kW DC charging options, A typical overnight AC charge from 10-100% takes 5.7 hours. Ford software and the BlueOval Charge Network, set to include 500,000 chargers by 2024, also facilitate public charging. At a DC fast charger, customers can add 87 km range in 10 minutes, and charge from 10-80% in under 35 minutes.
The new E-Tourneo can carry five adults and their luggage with a 60-40 split rear bench offering 44% more cargo space than the outgoing Tourneo Courier. Other features include a suite of driver assistance systems, including a mode choice of Normal, Eco or Slippery driver modes.
The onboard digiboard” instrument panel features a full digital instrument cluster and SYNC 4 infotainment controlled via the large 12‑inch touchscreen. The fully connected cabin offers wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration, as well as a phone charging. Over-the-air updates can improve functionality without visiting a dealership.
The E-Tourneo Courier will be produced in Craiova, Romania, from the second half of 2024, with the Ford Puma crossover set to offer an EV variant by 2024.

Ford is investing $50 billion globally through 2026 to achieve a targeted run rate of more than 2 million all-electric vehicles by the end of that year.
