Despite the growth seen in October, fleet registrations on Swiss companies are down 3.6% when looking at year-to-date figures.

Fleet registrations in Switzerland grew by 13.7% in October, continuing another month of growth on a year that saw several registration declines.

Despite the growth seen in October, fleet registrations on Swiss companies are down 3.6% when looking at year-to-date figures. With the overall growth in the market, several brands also witnessed some recent success.

Spanish automaker SEAT achieved a 214% growth, Porsche was up by 158%, and Citroen saw an increase of 85.8%. Registrations of light commercial vehicles up to 3.5 metric tons continued to grow in October, which was up by 7.8 %.

Meanwhile, Italian-based Iveco achieved the highest growth of the top 10 importers in the true fleet market with a 42.5 % increase. Second place in terms of growth went to Ford, which delivered the highest volume of light commercial vehicles to Swiss companies in October and saw a 26% increase. Finally, Citroen saw a 20.4 % increase for Swiss fleet operators.
