Henry Paetzel, retired manager of automotive services at General Mills Inc., passed away from cancer on Nov. 19, 2022. He was 77. Paetzel worked for General Mills in Minneapolis for his entire 38-year career until he retired in 2007. He was the winner of the 2004 Automotive Fleet Professional Fleet Manager of the Year Award.
Chuck Parker, CEO and publisher of the Automotive Information Network (AIN) Media, the fleet industry’s first all-digital publishing company, passed away on Sept. 21, 2022. He was 88.
Lynda Dinwiddie, retired associate vice president of fleet and travel for LabCorp and winner of the 2007 Fleet Manager of the Year Award, passed away on Sept. 24, 2022. She was 61.

Bill Gibson, director of national sales for ELMS, passed away on August 26, 2021, in Orlando, Fla., following a brief illness. Gibson is best remembered for his fleet career at General Motors, where he retired on April 30, 2011, as director, sales for General Motors Fleet & Commercial Operations. He worked at GM for 38 years, which included 21 years in GM Fleet & Commercial Operation, which included rental, commercial, and global fleet sales.

Frank Grochal retired from Automotive Resources International and Holman Enterprises in 2005, culminating a successful career that spanned five decades. He was inducted in the NAAA Hall of Fame in 1983. He was the first person in fleet to achieve this honor.
